Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted he was “disappointed” at only drawing 2-2 with ten-man Arsenal after they had taken the lead.
After going a goal down despite dominating possession, the home side fought back, scoring two goals in two minutes to take the lead with just under half an hour remaining. But Alexis Sanchez equalised and Arsenal could have won it in the final seconds through Aaron Ramsey.
“In the first half we conceded a goal when we fully deserved to score, and because we managed the game from the beginning, but sometimes it’s difficult,” said Pochettino.
“At 2-1 for us, I’m disappointed at the final whistle.
“But the last action, (the chance) for Ramsey at the end, we need to be pleased and happy because we keep the three-point (gap) to Arsenal and I think if you analyse the game we played much better than them.”
