Romelu Lukaku unleashed an angry outburst to his Manchester United teammates after their 1-0 loss to Champions Chelsea last week.
A report from the Sun has revealed that the Belgian striker was unhappy with the service he received during United’s disappointing display against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last week. Lukaku revealed that he made no attempt to hide his frustrations and unloaded his complaints as soon as he got into the away dressing room.
In the report a dressing-room source revealed that the pressure of having not scored for seven games sent Lukaku into a frenzy with the attacker doing his best efforts to put the blame on his team-mates around him.
Lukaku’s goal drought for the Red Devils has started to cause many fans to question whether he really does have the quality to perform at the top level.
The Belgian striker hit the ground running at the start of the season after signing from Everton for £75m (fee per the Sun) but his recent performances have clearly taken a toll on him.
Lukaku did manage to end his recent goal drought while on international duty for Belgium this weekend but it remains to be seen whether he can start firing again for United.
