Chelsea could have a busy end to the summer transfer window as speculation hots up that Maurizio Sarri is set to replace Antonio Conte as the club’s manager.
Various media outlets are currently claiming Conte is on his way out of Stamford Bridge, and the Guardian have an update regarding how this might affect the club’s transfer activity.

Sarri is now reportedly expected to bring in Napoli midfielder Jorginho with him to Chelsea, and the Guardian state that Juventus defender Daniele Rugani and CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin will follow.
On top of that, Roma goalkeeper Alisson looks a likely transfer target as CFC no.1 Thibaut Courtois is also expected to leave the club, according to the Guardian.
The Belgian shot-stopper’s future has been the subject of much speculation for some time, with Don Balon recently claiming he was so desperate to get a move to Real Madrid that he’d accept a pay cut to do so.
On top of that, Sky Sports are reporting that Barcelona have made a second bid for Chelsea winger Willian after a first was rejected. There’s no update on how CFC might deal with this one, but that’s potentially a second big-name departure this summer, with four coming in if the signing of Alisson can be secured.
Even if Alisson is not brought in, a new ‘keeper would surely be a priority, so a fourth signing seems likely anyway, with the Sun also recently linking them with Stoke City’s Jack Butland as another option.
