Eden Hazard has put a €350m price-tag on his own head with the Chelsea star the subject of increasing speculation linking him to Real Madrid.

A report from the respected Italian sports outlet CalcioMercato has reported the comments made by Hazard to a French magazine.

Discussing whether Chelsea would ever let him go the Belgian stated that it would have to be a huge fee for him to be allowed to leave Chelsea. The star joked that given the current fees flying around world football for stars that he could be worth an enormous fee.

The report quotes Hazard as saying, ““As a joke last time I said that I was worth €300 million. Have I gone up by another €50m in two months? €350m, that’s still a lot (bursts into laughter). ”

While the comments may have come as part of a joke from Hazard it certainly adds fuel to the fire linking him away from Stamford Bridge.

Just yesterday the Daily Mail reported that Real Madrid had made contact with Hazard’s representatives with the report also stating that the winger was holding off contract extension talks with Chelsea.

The star has continually impressed over the last season and beyond. Hazard was influential in Chelsea’s title winning campaign last season and has recently established himself in a new role under Antonio Conte in the number ten role rather than as a conventional winger. The Belgian has made the switch to the centre of the park to strike up an incredibly effective partnership with Alvaro Morata.

However, Hazard’s future certainly is looking uncertain and the star could potentially be departing for a huge fee in the coming year or two.
