Good to be back after the International break, despite during that time, rumours surfacing that Conte could be leaving Chelsea - which seem to have no substance.
After beating Hull City (which most teams will do this year) we should not be carried away, though, until we beat some decent teams.
We have already beaten Leicester this season and with home advantage three points are crucial.
John Terry is expected to be fit to return from an ankle injury but Victor Moses is likely to miss out due to a hamstring problem. Willian looks unlikely to be available having been granted compassionate leave following the death of his mother, so Pedro or Michy Batshuayi could be handed a rare start alongside Diego Costa and Eden Hazard in attack.
I would have Terry back in the middle, with Zouma for his pace against Vardy and Luiz picking out passes.
I think it’s a well balanced back 3, who are all good in the air and can also score goals, I really hope to see this, think it could be very effective. My only issue is Dave and Alonso don’t offer too much creatively when they are in the middle of the pitch.
I don’t see why Fabregas/Kante can’t take this role on. I think Conte sees Fabregas as a player lacking physicality for that role, and you suspect he will revert back to his favoured middle pairing. It goes without saying we need a creative CM to partner kante and a winger with a good end product, not to mention a good attacking left back.
I suspect this will be a bit easier than the Cup game and players should be full of confidence, so I am going for a 3-0 win against a team that have in the main struggled on their travels this season
