Former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas named just two current Gunners players in his combined XI with Chelsea ahead of tonight’s big game at the Emirates Stadium.
The Scot spent five years at Arsenal between 1983 and 1988, scoring 54 goals in 184 appearances for the north London giants, including a famous brace against Liverpool in a 1987 League Cup final victory.
However, he won’t be too popular with his old fans after putting together a combined line up of Arsenal and Chelsea players based on this season’s form, with only Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette making the cut in a team dominated by Blues stars.
There’s no room even for Alexis Sanchez, who was on fire last season to become considered one of Europe’s top attacking players.
The Chilean has, however, looked a little off the pace for much of this campaign as he nears the end of his contract.
