Arsenal could reportedly be offered Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain as part of any transfer deal for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners are said to be re-considering their stance on the Chilean, who will be out of contract in the summer and who has not been at his best so far this season.
According to the Daily Mail, some at Arsenal are concerned about Sanchez’s current temperament, and that could lead the club to accept around £35million for him in January.
The Mail also links PSG with an interest in Sanchez, so much so that they could be prepared to offer Draxler to Arsenal in order to help them seal a deal.
That would be ideal for Arsenal’s needs as they face the prospect of losing such a top class attacking player for a relatively low transfer fee in this current market.
Draxler has shone for PSG but no longer looks guaranteed a regular starting spot in his preferred position due to the presence of summer signings Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The Germany international would certainly have little in the way of competition at the Emirates Stadium, particularly as Mesut Ozil’s future also looks in serious doubt as he also heads towards the end of his contract next summer.
