Jack Wilshere is still a target for AC Milan, according to the Daily Star.
The paper had already linked the Arsenal midfielder with Milan when Wilshere was choosing where to go on loan this term.
The England midfielder chose Bournemouth, and it seems to have been a good call. While he’s not setting the world on fire, he’s playing 90 minutes regularly for the first time in years.
At the end of this season, it looks as though the door to a move to Serie A will still be open. Milan have apparently let the Gunners know that they are still interested in Wilshere, and they won’t even have to stump up too much cash because his contract expires in the summer of 2018.
It will be a difficult choice for Wilshere this summer. His path to the Arsenal first team looks as difficult as ever; so he faces the choice between staying safe at Bournemouth without much chance of a trophy, or risking it all on a move to Italy.
